A dramatic scene unfolded in the Supreme Court of India when a petitioner abused the Chief Justice of India (CJI) Surya kant during court proceedings and threw papers inside the courtroom, disrupting the hearing and prompting immediate action by court officials.
The petitioner became agitated after the court did not respond favourably to his submissions. In a sudden outburst, he reportedly used abusive language against the Chief Justice and hurled a bundle of papers toward the Bench. The incident briefly interrupted the proceedings, drawing the attention of lawyers and court staff present in the courtroom.
Security personnel stationed inside the Supreme Court swiftly intervened and restrained the individual before escorting him out of the courtroom. Court proceedings resumed shortly thereafter, with the Bench maintaining composure despite the disruption.
