For the past few years, Hafiz Saeed led terror organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) has been troubled with ‘unknown gunmen’ killing their terrorists. Obviously, Lashkar blames India for eliminating their terrorists one by one. Just last week, LeT operative Rizwan Hanif said that Indian intelligence agencies were behind the killings of more than 30 Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists in Pakistan through what he described as an “unknown gunman model”.
Now it seems like not just ‘unknown gunmen’, but also unknown roadside dhabas are killing Lashkar terrorists. A senior Lashkar-e-Taiba commander, Qari Saeed Abdul Aziz, was found dead yesterday under suspicious circumstances at a mosque in Pakistan’s capital, Islamabad. As per reports, the LeT commander had eaten at an ‘unfamiliar’ restaurant before heading to the Quba Mosque in Islamabad for prayers. Once there, he suddenly collapsed at the mosque gate and died instantly.
Abdul Aziz was apparently in charge of the department in the terror organisation that assisted the families of the terrorists killed during encounters in Jammu and Kashmir. Now, his own family will require financial assistance from fellow terrorists.
There have been speculations whether he was poisoned or if it was just a case of food poisoning, or a heart attack. However, one thing is certain, after fearing ‘unknown gunmen’, now Lashkar terrorists will start fearing unfamiliar eateries as well.
