Pakistan is still licking its wounds after Indian strikes in Pakistan during Operation Sindoor conducted last May. While that operation is still not officially over despite the ceasefire, Pakistan may now have to worry about Operation Sindoor 2.0.
Indian Army Chief Upendra Dwivedi has said that the Indian Armed Forces are actively preparing for the next phase of modern warfare under “Operation Sindoor 2.0″.
The Army Chief also highlighted said Operation Sindoor has not ended and only a temporary cessation of hostilities is presently in place. He stressed that the Army, Navy, and Air Force are jointly preparing for future battlefield scenarios amid rapidly evolving security challenges along the borders.
“Operation Sindoor is still continuing. There is a temporary cessation of hostilities. The Indian Army and all three services are preparing well for Operation Sindoor 2.0, if it takes place,” the Army Chief said.
The statement by Chief of Army Staff highlights that the Indian Armed Forces are focused on modernization, developing weapons with latest technology, and enhancing the synergy between Army, Navy and Air Force as they prepare for the modern warfare.
The Army Chief also highlighted how the coordinated response witnessed during Operation Sindoor reflected the kind of joint military culture developed at the NDA, where cadets from the Army, Navy and Air Force train together from the beginning of their careers.
