RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat is currently in the United States as part of his 17-day overseas tour, which also includes Canada and the UK.
Mohan Bhagwat, on August 29, will be addressing the “Universal Oneness Celebration” at Madison Square Garden, New York, organised by the American Hindus for Engagement and Dialogue
While his visit has enthused non-resident Indians in the United States,anti-India forces have become active again, trying to scuttle the RSS pramukh’s visit or, if not that, try to belittle it one way or the other. These forces have always worked to defame India to further their nefarious designs.
Starting with Zohran Mamdani, Mayor of New York City. The Mayor has been a strong critic of patriotic forces working for the betterment of India. From day one, Mamdani has been furiously attacking our Prime Minister. He has even described him as a war criminal. Nothing more can be expected from Mamdani, who draws support from anti-India forces active in the West. His criticism of Bhagwat’s visit was along expected lines. Mamdani is also seen as disrespectful to Hindu religious practices and was once seen inside a temple with his footwear. In other words, he is a known anti-Hindu face in New York.
Another infamous organisation, Hindus for Human Rights, has also criticised the RSS chief’s US visit. Certainly, don’t go by the name; the organisation that came up in 2019 has always worked against Indian interests. Looking for opportunities to defame the country. Sunita Vishwanath is linked to this organisation, and she was also seen with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in one of latter’s meeting abroad.
There is another anti – India organisation known by the name of Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). It has also publicly opposed Mohan Bhagwat’s visit. The council members wrote on X – that the US government should rather focus on imposing sanctions on RSS members found guilty of violating religious freedoms.
The council has been a fake news peddler. Its involvement in anti-national acts in Tripura is well known. The Social media accounts of this organisation is already banned in India.
Then comes the Indian American Muslim Council. Another so-called advocacy group. It too has been quite vociferous in opposing Mohan Bhagwat’s visit to the US. The organisation has been continuously backing disruptive forces both within & outside India.
In the name of human rights, religious freedom, pluralism, democratic values & whatnot, these organisations have a history of working against India in the garb of these values. They play to the tunes of their masters sitting across borders.
Significantly, Mohan Bhagwat is already in New York and has received a warm welcome from the Indian diaspora. Indians living across the globe have always stood united & have never let anti-India forces to dominate.
