Cockroach Janata Party founder Abhijeet Dipke booked for entering Latur school without permission and then threatening teachers

Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder and convenor Abhijeet Dipke has been booked by Maharashtra Police in Latur for entering a government school without permission, disrupting official work and threatening teachers. The case has been registered at Ausa police station following a complaint by a teacher at a Zila Parishad Urdu school in Jawali near Ausa.

The incident took place on August 20, when Dipke, CJP organisational head Ajinkya Shinde and several other party workers visited the school as part of the party’s “School Thik Karo” (Improve Government Schools) campaign. According to the complaint, the group entered the premises without prior authorisation, sat among students and questioned them during school hours. The complainant said that their presence disrupted classes and the school’s work.

The complaint further stated that the CJP team recorded videos inside the school and later circulated the footage on social media. Dipke reportedly questioned the school’s functioning and claimed that students from another school had been brought into the premises to create an impression of better attendance and infrastructure. Dipke also made remarks against teachers and threatened to have them suspended. That raises the question: who is Abhijeet Dipke to enter schools without any authority and threaten the teachers?

Police have registered the case under provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) relating to obstruction of public servants, criminal intimidation and other alleged offences. Investigators are now examining the circumstances surrounding the visit and the allegations made by the school staff.

This political campaign of the Cockroach Janata Party has raised concerns among parents of school-going children. Are our children really safe in schools if political activists can just enter any school? You want to do your politics; do it outside our kids’ schools, please.

Don’t make our kids pawns in your politics, but can Abhijeet Dipke and his associates understand this? I doubt.
