Arvind Kejriwal’s arrogance again on full display, asks BJP President Nitin Nabin “Who are you”

Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal has always been known for his hubris. He gave another example of that as he asked Bharatiya Janata Party President Nitin Nabin that who is he.

आप कौन हैं? https://t.co/oiN0Pe28oY— Arvind Kejriwal (@ArvindKejriwal) July 5, 2026

Arvind Kejriwal asked this after Nitin Nabin criticised opposition leaders over their silence whenever Hindu religion is insulted. Nabin said that Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav and Arvind Kejriwal should not consider the Hindu religion so weak that people would believe their rhetoric. He added that when Hindu deities are insulted, you people remain silent, but the people of Uttar Pradesh and India would never tolerate any insult to Sanatan Dharma.

Kejriwal’s response was to try and show that the BJP President is insignificant, by asking the question who he is. Yes, Mr Kejriwal, who is Nitin Nabin after all, only the president of the largest party in India, president of the party governing India since 2014, president of the party with most number of Lok Sabha MPs, Rajya Sabha MPs, and MLAs across India.

If you remember, Arvind Kejriwal’s arrogance was one of the reasons why AAP got swept away in 2025 Delhi Assembly polls was Arvind Kejriwal’s arrogance. Instead of becoming a little humble after the chastening defeat, Kejriwal continues to display the same arrogance. Nitin Nabin is a very humble man, and to try and question him like that, makes it even worse. It reminded one of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra asking “Smriti Who” ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Of course, Smriti Irani went on to defeat Rahul Gandhi from Gandhi family’s bastion Amethi and rewrote history. Nature has that way to humble arrogant people, Arvind Kejriwal should not forget that.

Of course Kejriwal was humbled on X immediately by BJP leader Parvesh Verma who had defeated Kejriwal in the 2025 assembly elections.

Parvesh Verma posted, “BJP President is a very big thing, remember me or not?”

राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष तो बहुत बड़ी बात है , मैं याद हूँ की नहीं ? https://t.co/ehYODyGHJl— Parvesh Sahib Singh (@p_sahibsingh) July 5, 2026

It is difficult to see Kejriwal learning some humility because a person doesn’t really change his basic nature, but let us see if this miracle does happen.
