US President Donald Trump is known for making outlandish statements, exaggerations, and sometimes downright lies. Every statement from him has to be taken with a bucket of salt. However, his latest statement may have topped them all.

The American President said that Iran said they would like to make him the next Supreme Leader but Trump said, “No Thank You, I don’t want it!”

Donald Trump further said, “They are negotiating, by the way, and they want to make a deal so badly, but they’re afraid to say it because they figure they’ll be killed by their own people. They’re also afraid they’ll be killed by us.”

The US President also said that Iran is now on their knees after the nearly month long war.

Notably, the war in West Asia broke out after US and Israel forces launched air strikes on Iran. Several of Iran’s top leaders, including Ayatollah Ali Khamenei were killed in these strikes. In retaliation, Iran has launched strikes on the Gulf allies of the US, damaging critical infrastructure in these countries.
