Operation Sindoor

Sindoor is worn by Hindu women as one of the symbols of marriage. When the Pahalgam terrorists killed innocent civilians after asking their religion and confirming they are Hindus, it was clear how the attack was religiously motivated. Further, when wife of one of the victims told the terrorist to kill her as well since he has killed her husband, the terrorist told her that he won’t kill her and that she should tell that to PM Modi.

Hence, the action undertaken by Indian forces was named Operation Sindoor as it avenged the loss of sindoor of Hindu women.

Navratri, too, celebrates the divine feminine, where the goddesses in all their finery kill the evil to ensure victory of the good, the dharma.
