Pakistan has shielded, supported, and even funded terrorists as a state policy, after all, who can forget Osama Bin Laden living under Pakistan's patronage. Now when the chickens have come home to roost, Pakistan's government attacks innocent Afghans to save face at home.

This flare-up continues an escalation cycle that began with Pakistani strikes on February 22 across eastern and southeastern Afghanistan.

Pakistan keeps claiming that it is launching strikes against terror hideouts in Afghanistan, but almost always kills Afghan civilians while conducting these operations across the border.

Tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan increased in February this year when both sides resorted to extensive clashes along the Durand Line.

Reportedly, the Pakistani forces reportedly carried out drone strikes followed by artillery shelling in areas around the provincial capital.

But beyond that attack, civilians have also been killed and wounded in airstrikes in other parts of Afghanistan, including Kabul, and families whose homes were destroyed say their lives have been completely shattered.
