On Monday, November 17, National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested another key aide of the terrorist Dr Umar Nabi who was involved in planning the suicide bombing outside the Red Fort Metro Station.
As per the NIA statement, the arrested person is Jasir Bilal Wani also known as Danish, a Kashmiri resident, who was arrested from Srinagar in Jammu & Kashmir by an NIA team that was in the Kashmir valley investigating the case.

Continuing with its probe in the car bomb blast case, NIA arrested Jasir, a key associate of Umar Nabi involved in the blast a day after they arrested another aide named Amir Rashid Ali.
As per the NIA statement, Jasir, who has been arrested today, had allegedly provided technical support for carrying out terror attacks by modifying drones and attempting to make rockets ahead of the deadly car bomb blast outside the Red Fort.
The statement further said that the accused, a resident of Qazigund in Anantnag district of J&K, was an active co-conspirator behind the attack and had worked closely with the terrorist, Umar Nabi, to plan the terror attack.
The NIA is further investigating the terror attack to identify everyone involved in the attack and to bring them to justice.
