Investigation into the Red Fort blast has revealed a far bigger conspiracy: a 32-car serial attack plan tied to Al-Falah University. Two doctors allegedly bought vehicles in cash to transport explosives. With 2,900 kg of materials seized and multiple cars recovered, agencies say a major December 6 attack was being plotted.
As per the NIA statement, the arrested person is Jasir Bilal Wani also known as Danish, a Kashmiri resident, who was arrested from Srinagar in Jammu & Kashmir by an NIA team investigating the Red Fort blast.
Al Falah University in Haryana has come under a lot of scrutiny following the Red Fort metro station blast in Delhi as the accused suspected to have carried out the blasts all had links with this University.
The police authorities said that the summons were sent after investigators concluded that Al Falah university’s chairman Javed Ahmad Siddiqui’s statement was crucial for clarifying several inconsistencies.
