The conflict in West Asia started on February 28 this year when US and Israeli forces launched strikes on Iran targeting their top leadership. The strikes led to the death of Ayatollah Khamenei among other top Iranian leaders.
There have been attempts to broker a peace between the two warring factions and currently a fragile ceasefire is in place. However, the ceasefire hasn’t led to the reopening of the crucial Strait of Hormuz or has led to any agreement on Iran’s Uranium stockpile.
Now, US President Donald Trump, in a post on his social media platform Truth Social, has warned Iran that he is no longer going to be a nice guy.

In his post, the US President wrote, “Iran can’t get their act together. They don’t know how to sign a nonnuclear deal. They better get smart soon”, and signed it off with his name. He also attached an image of himself carrying an automatic rifle with explosions going off behind him.
With the talks for long term peace between the two sides in limbo, Trump’s comments have come at a time when the world was hoping for a peace deal between the two sides.
Earlier, Trump had claimed that Iran is in a state of collapse and added that Iranians want US to reopen the Strait of Hormuz as soon as the leadership issue is sorted in the Persian country.
