Police in Lahore, Pakistan, say they have registered a murder case for Aisha, that 18-year-old girl who was a domestic help. According to reports, the teenage girl was hospitalized after a gang rape and an abortion/miscarriage, and she died there in the hospital.
Police said that the investigation of this case has been handed over to the Lahore Investigation Branch and one suspect has also been arrested.
Police also said that a request has been made to the court that all those involved in the case, who were acquitted and released a few days ago after the victim girl’s statement, should be questioned again. Now these people will be investigated and examined on charges of her murder.
Aisha’s father, Javed, has claimed that his daughter changed the statement she gave in court due to force and pressure. Her final statement under Section 164 differed from her initial statement that Aisha had recorded before her death.
According to Lahore police information, Aisha became pregnant after the rape and, due to an abortion on May 26th of last month, faced some health complications and later died.
People only took notice of this incident after a video of her went viral on social media before her death. In the video she tells the story of what happened to her and what people did to her.
Police have claimed that in the initial investigations it became clear to them that, according to the claim, this 18-year-old girl was taken to a private clinic in the Raiwind area for an abortion. But when her health condition later worsened, she was transferred to Lahore’s Services Hospital and she died there after several days of treatment.
How did the “gang rape” news come out? The story of this incident began on April 28th of last month when Aisha filed a complaint with the police in Lahore’s Model Town area that she had been gang raped.
In the case, sections 375-A, 338-C, and 201 of Pakistan’s Penal Code in that country, Section 375-A is mostly applied during charges of gang rape.
If someone is proven guilty of this crime, they can be sentenced to death or life imprisonment under Pakistan’s law. Section 338-C is applied in cases of abortion or miscarriage, under which the offender can be sentenced to three to ten years in prison, and Section 201 is also applied when evidence is destroyed or concealed, which carries a penalty of seven years in prison. were also deemed applicable.

The complainant, or the victim girl Aisha, said in her complaint or (FIR) that she had been working as a domestic worker in a house in Lahore’s Model Town area for about a year.
She said that in November of last year, 2025, the son of the house owner started living at his father’s house after falling out with his wife. She said that for some time, the owner’s son and the driver had been raping her together, as a result of which she became pregnant and had a child in her womb.
She also said that when her monthly period stopped, she shared it with the woman of the house, and after an examination it was found that she was pregnant.
This girl also said in her complaint that medicine for aborting the child or terminating the pregnancy was given to her, which had a bad effect on her, and she was sent to her home in Faisalabad on a 20-day leave. There her condition worsened further, and when her father took her to a nearby clinic, he found out that his daughter was pregnant. Her father told the boy’s father the whole story over the phone, and he told him to bring the girl back to Lahore as soon as possible.
In her complaint, Aisha said that after going to Lahore, the woman of the house/owner, her sister, and another person intimidated her and forced her to have surgery and abort the child. Later they took her to the hospital. Aisha said that there it was found out that, “The five-month-old baby in my womb has died.”
This girl stated in her complaint that after the surgery her condition worsened further and then she was admitted to a government hospital.
Before her death, Aisha requested in this complaint that the accused people had gang-raped her, aborted her child, intimidated and threatened her, and committed severe cruelty and oppression against her, so justice should be provided.
An investigating officer of this case said that the girl developed health complications after the abortion and eventually died.
Why did the girl change her statement? Police say that in her initial written statement and recorded video, the victim girl accused the son of the house owner and the driver of gang rape, but later she changed her statement in court and only accused the driver. The court therefore released the house owner’s son on bail. On the other hand, the girl’s father, Javed, told, that he alleges his daughter was “pressured” to change her statement in court.
He claims that the accused in this case had severely forced her to change her statement before the court. Lahore police now say that, “The girl’s recorded statement under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code is being reviewed again. A forensic medical examination of her body has also been conducted, and the actual cause of death will be clarified later in a detailed report.”
Police said, that the accused claim they are innocent and their lawyers are working on a review of this case.
“I didn’t know what was going on with my daughter “Aisha’s father says he sent his daughter to that house in Lahore to do housework, but he didn’t know what was happening to her there. Javed adds, “We would talk to her on the phone from time to time. In the beginning she never told me anything about being raped.”
He says that a few days later his wife told him that their daughter’s condition had changed and she was always silent. According to Javed, “When she came to Faisalabad and after her condition worsened we took her to the clinic, the doctor told me that my daughter was pregnant. On hearing this, my legs started trembling. I felt like someone had pulled the ground from under my feet and the sky had fallen on my head.”
He adds that the rest of the story is the same as what is written in the complaint, and says, “We are weak people. We don’t have the strength to fight anyone. Just, our request to the government is that they give us justice.”
