On Monday, November 10, a major blast took place near the Red Fort in Indian capital Delhi. The blast shook the locals. The blast apparently took place outside the Gate Number 1 of the Metro Station inside a car. Though the number of dead isn’t confirmed yet, but reports are circulating that as many as 8 people died in the blast.
As per reports, as many as 8 people died after the blast ripped through the Red Fort area in the biggest terror attack in Delhi in years.
As per news reports, Delhi Police said that at least eight people have been declared dead. Several other people are feared injured. The police are further investigating the matter.
Following the bomb blast, Delhi Police has cordoned off the area and the fire services are helping them with the remnants of the blast.
A member of the Delhi Fire services said, “The blast occurred in a car parked near Red Fort metro station gate number 1. The intensity was quite high. Injuries are feared.”
While emergency services are investigating the scene, reports have already confirmed that 8 people died in the explosion.
The reason for the explosion, and the people behind it, are yet to be identified.
