Ahead of 2019 elections, Congress scion Rahul Gandhi claimed that he has destroyed PM Narendra Modi’s image. Acknowledging that PM Narendra Modi’s incorruptible image has been his biggest strength, Rahul Gandhi claimed that he has destroyed it. Rahul Gandhi was making these statements after alleging a scam in the procurement of Rafale Jets from France. Well, despite Rhul Gandhi repeating this falsehoods multiple times everywhere, no scam was found, procurement was found to be transparent, and PM Modi’s incorruptible image stayed the way it was.
This was just one example. Congress, led by Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, has been targeting Narendra Modi for the last quarter of a century. Personal attacks, false allegations have been launched against Modi by the Congress party under the leadership of the mother-son duo.
Whether it was the false allegations over the Gujarat riots of 2002, whether it was the false allegations after Ishrat Jahan encounter, whether it was the false allegations after Sohrabuddin encounter, or whether it was the Rafale deal later, Congress has always tried to try and get Narendra Modi implicated in one thing or the other.
Much to their chagrin, PM Narendra Modi always emerged spotlessly clean after every such allegation. When charges against Narendra Modi were not sticking, Congress also tried to get his trusted aide and right hand man Amit Shah trapped in some of those cases, again to no avail.
It was not just these false allegations and criminal cases, Congress has also kept on making personal attacks on Narendra Modi over the years. These personal attacks were just to mock him and try and damage his reputation in the eyes of the public. From ‘Maut ka saudagar’ to ‘neech’ to ‘chaiwala’ to comparing Modi to every villain in history, Congress has been going after him nonstop for the last quarter of a century.
However, all these allegations and personal attacks turned out to be an exercise in futility. Narendra Modi’s image kept getting stronger, and his popularity kept growing.
With Congress’s attacks over the past 25 years failing, several useless idiots have also joined in to launch personal attacks on PM Modi to try and further narrative of Congress. Two such useful idiots are Subramanian Swamy and Madhu Kishwar. The two, who were all praise for Narendra Modi before 2014, have over the years turned against PM Modi. Interestingly, even before they shifted, PM Modi kept them at arm’s length after coming to Delhi in 2014. An excellent judge of character PM Modi has turned out to be.
Swamy and Kishwar have now moved from criticising PM Modi or his policies to downright slander. Cheap allegations about PM Modi are being made, sensational allegations with zero truth are being made over the character of PM Modi. However, as Rahul Gandhi and Congress party have found over the years that launching personal attacks on PM Modi is easy, hurting PM Modi’s impeccable image is not. Same will be discovered by Swamy and Madhu Kishwar as their wild allegations get ignored by people.
