Film actor Sanjay Dutt on Thursday, 2nd October, 2025 got abused, mainly by Congress supporters, for praising the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, the RSS on its centenary. Taking to X, Dutt shared a video of himself congratulating the Sangh on completion of 100 years of existence and hailed the organisation for standing by the nation especially during times of calamities.

However, he was abused for praising the Sangh and accused him of having a flexible spine.

Sunil Dutt as an MP was often accused of settling illegal encroachers in Bandra-Kurla, his constituency. In fact, once when a bulldozer was brought in to clear off illegal encroachment, Dutt lied down in front of it to prevent it. Dutt was also often accused of pandering to the Congress’ Muslim vote bank.
Sanjay Dutt, too, has had his own run-ins with the law. His most infamous case stemmed from the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts, when he was arrested under the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act (TADA) for illegal possession of arms supplied by the underworld. Though cleared of terrorism charges, he was convicted for possessing an AK-56 rifle and spent multiple stints in jail before being released in 2016 after serving his sentence. Other than this, his history includes earlier arrests related to drugs in the 1980s, which led him to rehabilitation.
Now, Sanjay Dutt is getting abused by the very supporters of his father for praising the RSS.
